Town of Jilemnice is situated in the hilly countryside of the western foothills of the giant mountains (square, at an altitude of 464 m a.s.l.), and now has about 6 thousand people. Already for years is sought as a convenient way out into the Western giant mountains, whose natural Centre during the historical development.
